Before the Fading, Seyvar kept the seed vault of the Lightgrid: an underground hall where thousands of little drawers held the seeds of every plant of the ten lands, and every drawer was labeled in his hand. When the vine came, he did not leave his seeds. The vine grew through him right there between the drawers, and he has been sowing ever since
The Overgrowth plant their dead in the ground like seeds, and it is Seyvar who plants them. He lowers every one of the departed into the earth and puts a single seed from their flower into his sack. It is from these seeds that his bushes rise in battle: they remember the ones they grew from and do not let strangers near their own
Once he set out across the grey lands, sowing as he walked, and a strip of moss trailed after him through the Haze. That is how he reached the Lull, and by the platform he planted his last seed. In the night his feet took root in the ground, as happens to all the old ones of the Overgrowth, in the morning he did not wake, and his light went into the Lantern. By the platform there now grows a bush that blooms in any weather
He is slow and kind and speaks with long pauses. He remembers every seed and every name. He calls everyone after plants: Varga is Thistle, Marta is Turnip. His jokes are so quiet that it takes a moment to tell they are jokes. At every roll call Unarion notes that Seyvar has grown two millimeters, and every time Seyvar thanks him
Abilities by rank

Trait
Humus
Seyvar's withered bush does not vanish: moss spreads over its cell and around it for 4 s, and allies standing on it heal 2% of their max health per second
Awakening at level 100: a withered bush drops a seed, and a new bush with half the strength grows in its place, once for each bush

Ability 1 · mana 100, starts with 30
Sowing
Seyvar drives his planting stake into the ground in front of him and drops a seed into the hole, and a thorny bush grows out of the tilled earth. The bush does not move, and its health and attack are a share of Seyvar's. It stings the enemies next to it, and every sting poisons: Poison for 10% of the bush's attack per second for 5 s
| Rank | From level | Bush health, % of his health | Bush attack, % of his attack |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | 1 | 40 | 28 |
| II | 20 | 48 | 34 |
| III | 40 | 56 | 39 |
| IV | 60 | 64 | 45 |
| V | 80 | 72 | 50 |

Ability 2 · when Seyvar is hit up close, at most once every 6 s, opens at level 30
Roots
Seyvar strikes the ground with his staff, and glowing roots burst out of the earth under the attacker and grab it: Root for 1 s and magic damage
| Rank | From level | Magic damage |
|---|---|---|
| I | 30 | 80 |
| II | 55 | 130 |
| III | 80 | 270 |
Stars make him stronger on top of the ranks: attributes ×1.4 at ★2 and ×1.9 at ★3, the damage of Roots ×1.25 and ×1.6, and the bushes grow with his health and attack

Look
- a tall stooped old man, half tree: bark on his back and shoulders, and a heavy wooden hump overgrown with moss rising above his head
- an old man's face with bark on the cheekbones, a beard of moss and small leaves, and a low crown of leaves around his head with glowing peach flowers
- a flower glowing with a warm peach light in the open collar of his shirt
- what is left of the seed keeper's work coat and a rounded canvas apron with dozens of small pockets, each with seeds and a signed tag
- a heavy canvas sack of seeds on his shoulder with ears of grain sticking out of its neck, and in his hand a short thick planting stake of dark wood with a sprout on top
- roots instead of feet, wrapped in burlap
How to play
Put him in the second row: the bushes come up in front of him, on the enemy's side, and hold whoever is heading for your shooters and mages. The longer the fight, the more bushes on the field and the more moss under your own, so the fighters who stand next to him in close combat, like Unarion and Marta, gain the most from him
Assassins who leap at him run into the roots. He is weak at the start of a fight, before the first bush comes up, and against enemies who hit an area and mow the bushes down at once. He is fragile, only 424 health
