Version 1.0.4

29 new heroes join the climb

The roster has grown from 31 heroes to 60. The old heroes are unchanged. Each of the 29 new heroes has their own art, animation, spell effects, voice and sounds. The new build is on the download page

Twelve of them are rank V, two for each of the six peoples, with mechanics no hero had before

Rank V

  • Kondratiy buries an enemy in a mound. When killed he lies down for 3 seconds and gets back up with half his health, venting steam as he rises
  • Ratmir falls apart into rats as he is wounded, whistles them all onto one target and, if killed, rises again from the smallest rat
  • Guriy takes enemy shots on himself, shields a wounded ally behind his door and silences nearby enemies with his drill
  • Iona holds firm inside his lead casing, then leaps at a distant enemy and keeps attacking until he burns out
  • Kopta links clay mounds with tunnels so allies can enter one and come out by the enemy line, while her soldiers spit glue
  • Mafusail grows stronger as each year of battle passes, drops the years onto the fastest enemy and once per battle turns the calendar back for his team
  • Matryona hooks an enemy out of a crowd and drops them into another, drops a load on anyone who stands still and lowers a container with a crew
  • Matyora stays in place and reaches any enemy with a root spear, heals allies and holds foes with moss, and plants fallen allies so they rise again
  • Melipona evens out her allies' health, feeds the strongest and hides the wounded in amber
  • Metrophan counts the beat of the battle: his whole team strikes together on the strong beat, moves faster in Presto and freezes nearby enemies in Fermata
  • Plakida walks under a canopy that heals and shields her allies, and pulls the most wounded under its branches
  • Protea marks a wounded enemy, raises white copies of the fallen and shatters them for damage and mana

Rank IV

  • Evlampia marks the toughest enemy with an open eye so allies land more critical hits on it, but every eight seconds she blinks and is defenseless
  • Frol holds his ground and builds armor, pins an enemy to the floor with his tusks, then throws back everyone around him when that enemy breaks free
  • Kalibrion stamps porcelain pawns that march forward, crowns the one that reaches the edge and, when wounded, swaps places with his farthest piece
  • Mirmeleya keeps a sand funnel around herself, pulls enemies to her with a cave in and roots them, then slips under the sand when wounded
  • Prokhor plants thorny pots that shoot on their own, takes heavy hits on his glass panes and heals allies with steam once the panes are gone
  • Tamara lays rails, rolls along them through the enemy line to stun and shove foes aside, then sends current through the rails

Rank III

  • Agrippina builds pressure in her fruit and bursts over an area with every sixth shot, while her seeds grow into roots that hold enemies in place
  • Efrosinya shares her blood with the most wounded ally and those next to them, and everyone she heals returns part of their damage to her
  • Ignat leaves quills in the enemies he hits, then tears them from every foe at once and fires them around in a fan
  • Katoptra bounces a spot of sunlight between two enemies and then through five, and sends spells aimed at her back to their caster
  • Lampira pulses light around herself, then at full mana drops a beam on the densest enemy group and blinds it
  • Pankrat hangs an enemy on strings so it attacks its own side, and passes a quarter of his wounds on to it

Rank II

  • Argilion grows stronger with each dent he takes, then burns those dents away for armor and burning attacks
  • Dionea waits as a closed bud, leaps at an approaching enemy and holds it in her jaws
  • Kheper rolls a ball that grows its own shield and breaks through the enemy line

Rank I

  • Fekla strikes two enemies with both palms, then claps a line of light through the enemy ranks and blinds them
  • Savva rolls toward the farthest enemy, hits harder after building speed, then rolls through the enemy line to end up behind his target

Every hero card in the shop now shows a role, including the eleven that had none
